I need a ds about 70" give or take an inch (the old one got too chewed up to get an exact measurement). All I need is the shaft as I still have the original slip yoke and rear end mount (what ever its called). Some one has a shaft from a f150 1 year older than mine that's the right length (69") but he's saying it wont work but he's talking about splines and such. Will his ds work if I change out the slip yoke and rear end mount?

If you need a 70" and it's 69" then it may be to short but try it long as you can find ujoints for it.

Are u-joints pretty much universal for that size truck? I still have everything from the old ds.
