Hello, My explorer has trouble cranking sometimes, could i have the starter starting to go out? Also, my power steering pump has been grinding for a long time but ive been told that the fluid is fine although ive never changed out the fluid. Is my pump going out or should I change the fluid?

Change the fluid. Growling is a sign of air in the system, but at 207K miles, it should be changed.

Yes, the starter could be going out.

You can try new fluid on the PS pump and bleed it and see what happens-For the cranking problem start with the starter motor/starter relay/TRS and ignition switch
