after the engine starts and you run it about 15 miles, engine starts surging and will stall, any advice?

check the big air hose from the air filter to the throttle body for cracks. common failure.

I tried that as well, I just went out and started it and found that there is an intermittent clack in the block somewhere. My guess would be something is loose in the block itself. Wonder if that could be part of the problem?? I know it's not good whatever it is.... :-{
