1999 Ford Escort How to adjust rocker arms

I had the heads redone, and I have put it back together, dead top center. When the rocker arms are loose it will run, but when I tighten them it bogs, then picks back up. When I am on the 5th or 6th one it dies, and oil is every where. What am I doing wrong.

we don'thave a model with a V6 here in U.S. but yours may very well be mechanical lifters. so you will need to find out specs for it and adjust it like that.
