My rear window defroster quit working. The light on the switch turns on. There is no voltage going to the grid. I have checked the fuse, relay and window grid. They all checked out. I have replaced the switch and it still does not work.

If you have voltage at the grid and it is earthed, and still not working the grid will be open circuit, check this with a multimeter.

I do not have power at the grid. I checked the grid and it is okay. I also checked the fuse, relay and switch. They checked okay. Is there another component I may have missed? I read about a timer. Could that be the problem? If so, where is it located and how do I test it?

Check the wiring schematic and work through the circuit.

Your wiring diagram was just the thing. I found a loose wire at the hidden antenna module. Repaired it and all is well.
Thanks again.
