Engine shut off while driving

Car listed above SE model shut off when I was driving. A code popped up saying it was the cam shaft sensor. Where is that located on the motor?

Hi,

If you look at picture 1, I circled the cam sensor. Here are the directions for replacement. The additional pictures correlate with the directions for removal and replacement.

PROCEDURES
REMOVAL

1. Remove the air conditioning hose retaining nut.

2. Remove the power assisted steering hose retaining nut.

3. Remove the coolant hose retaining studs.

4. Remove the dipstick tube and lifting eye retaining bolts.

5. Remove the dipstick.

6. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

7. Disconnect the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.

8. Remove the CMP sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
