will a 200 amp alternator mess with my car in any way?

I have a 1999 contour lx 2.0l and i was wondering if i buy a 200 amp alternator will it effect my car in a bad way in any way ??

The operating system was set up to operate one and only one alternator. It was engineered with sufficient charging capacity for the load it was equipped with. If you are adding a stereo or something that is creating a severe load, you will need the larger alternator to avoid problems.
