I just replaced the timing belt on a 1999 Ford Contour. Everytng went fine but now that I am taking it for a test drive it is running very rough. Is there a break in period?

youll need to check the timing.are you sure the timing marks were lined up?check for any vacuum leaks.check the vacuum hoses by spraying them down with brake cleaner when you spray it on the leaking hose you will hear the idle pick up.
