Hi my transmission is slipping and it started a couple days ago and I would like to know if I can still drive it for awhile and also om really tight on money so I would like to know the cheapest way to get a new one or get it fixed

IF the transmission is only slipping slightly, no check engine lights have come on, and you feel safe driving it, you really won't hurt the clutches any more than they already are. They are already bad, so...

If this is the original trans and it ONLY is slipping (no strange noised) it should be just a soft part overhaul. The questions is, can you find a good used one for less than the cost of the OH. Start checking salvage yards for the same year, make and model transmission for prices. Then have a trans shop quote you for the overhaul. See which is the best way to go.
