how much and how long to replace belt tensioner and serpentine belt
also can you just replace serpentine belt and if so about how long would it last

You don't have to replace the belt tensioner only needs replaced if it is bad. As far as the belt, they usually last around 30K miles and take about 15 minutes to install.

hi again they said it was slightly belt out and the belt would keep going toward the front and slide off at sometime what would be the apprx cost for part and for part/labor total

Figure the tensioner will be around 70 dollars and labor for the entire job should be no more than 1 hour.
