1999 Dodge Durango Thinking About Purchasing Instruments On Dashboard Working

I am thinking about purchasing a 1999 Durango but none of the instruments on the dashboard are working. The owner said that he replaced the computer with one from a 1999 Dodge Ram and that could be the problem. I am worried that it is more in the line of an electrical short, can you please help?

it cold be the dash unit is bad or the computer problem but i'd go with the dash unit bad or a blown fuse check that first.
