I have a 99 dodge durango with a v8. My car will not turn over, I currently went on a trip to a different town. When I was there I was about to go mudding when I put my car in four wheel drive & went up a small hill and stopped it died. Then it would start up every so often then die again. I went a month with out it and my dad currently tried fixing it. He replaced my wires to my battery then charged my battery up completly. He jump started my car & it worked just fine for a day. This morning I go out to start it & it wont turn over& its making some wierd noises.I need help.

Sounds like you need to check your starter circuit, check for slack ground straps. Starter terminals, check starter!

Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. It should have 12 volts. If it does, chances are the starter is bad.
