1999 Dodge Durango PCV system

Someone broke the pcv valve on the passenger side valve cover and I cant figure out how it goes together

There is a grommet in valve cover that eh pcv goes into maybe it's missing or there is still a pieceof old valve in it. We have no pics of that

I bought a new grommet and p cv valve. The pcv valve is too small for the grommet. I can't figure anything else out

If yours is a straight design then try the other end or maybe the grommet is wrong. If you can use the old grommet. The pic that I am sending is what your should look like if not you have the wrong one. The single arrow goes into the grommet in the valve cover and the double arrow goes to the hose on the engine.

No. I have the same pcv valve and it is too small for the grommet. Something is wrong with this. Check the dimensions of these parts and you will see.

I can't check the dimensions on it as I don't know what type it is. I just took apictureof the proper one so different valves could be made to different specs. You may have the incorrect grommet as well. I'd suggest you go back where you got it and see if you can either get the right one or the right grommet. They should be a direct fit.
