Trying to replace the crankshaft sensor. I have looked and looked and have been told it is above the manifold on the passenager side. Was told to remove the distributor and it could be seen. Well, I cant see it. Can you give me ANY better adivce. Does the tranie need to be dropped? Is there an easier way to get to it?? Hope to hear from you soon.

I LOOKED FOR A DIAGRAM IN "MITCHELL I" POINTING TO THE SENSORS ON AN ENGINE.......THERE WERE OTHER SENSOR LOCATIONS SHOWN......BUT THERE WERE NONE FOR THIS SENSOR

SO......I MADE A SCREENSHOT OF WHAT I DID FIND.........MAYBE SOME OF THE OTHER INFO WILL HELP YOU LATER

"MITCHELL I" IS REALLY THOROUGH (COMPLICATED FOR A OLD CARBURETOR GUY LIKE ME)

THEY SHOW WIRING DIAGRAMS AND SO MUCH MORE STUFF....BASICALLY I'M USING IT ONLY FOR A REFERENCE TO HELP YOU GUYS ON 2CAR..........I'M MORE AT HOME WITH THE 1990 AND ON BACK JEEPS AND FORDS.

WHEN I GET SORTA CAUGHT UP IN MY "2CAR COMFORTABLE ZONE", I TRY TO DO WHAT I CAN, TO ANSWER SOME OF THE CYBER CARS OF TODAY.......I USUALLY CAN'T GO WRONG THROWING OUT A DIAGRAM OR GENERIC INFO..........WE ALL HATE TO SEE A REAL QUESTION FALL BY THE WAYSIDE, SADLY, WE DO GET OVER RUN
