1999 Dodge 600 Car Been Making Loud Knocking Noise Front Passenger Side Engine

My car has been making a loud knocking noise from the front passenger side of the engine and when it accelerates it gets louder til it switches gears then calms down..gets louder when it switches to another gear...i just put oil in it yesterday and it's worse today..is this problem reasonably fixable or should i just total it?

have alocal pro look at it bu ti sounds like a rod bearing, main bearing, etc or cam problem.
