1999 Chrysler Town and Country Rough ride

I just replaced my shock absorbers but my ride is still very bumpy and rough. I bottom out on bumps that I would have cleared in the past. One mechanic tells me the new shocks are to small for my van and another mechanic tells me the shocks are ok but I need to replace the springs. I have noticed the the back is a couple of inches lower then it used to be.

If springs are soft this may compromise the ride feel, measure the ride height from the ground to the bottom of the wheel arch each side, do this on flat level ground and post the readings. Re check that the shockers are correct for your make and model as well.
