I had to replace the transmission range senor on the valve body, no problem there. When it comes to reassembly I am having some difficulty. On top of the valve body there is a bar about the same diameter as a pencil with a spring on it and a roller on the end of it. Where does this go or rather how is it supposed to be placed?

The piece I am concerned about isn't shown in that picture. It's attached to the part labeled "2" in the pic, on the left hand side as you're looking at the pic.

This is all we have unless you are talking about item 12 which is the sensor itself. Th e roller shold ride against item 2 at the bottom in the notches. So it will know where to put valve.

I found a pic online, the piece is just to the right of the range sensor, pointing to the right.
