If the hose comes off at an angle, that would be for same engine, different application. The housing may need to be turned a different way. Since the early '60s, Chrysler has been famous for building in a lot of interchangeability in their parts and car models. GM is famous for making dozens of variations in their parts so you never seem to have the right one on hand. They can't even figure out how to make the same oil filter fit a Chevy AND a Pontiac. With Chrysler, it's easier to find replacement parts when they're all the same.
