I have a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus 2.5L in which I need to replace the distributor cap & rotor. I'm using the Haynes Repair Manual pertaining to my car as a reference. In the book, one of the removal steps says transaxle fluid dipstick tube needs to be removed I have a check engine light with a code that says 6th cylinder is miss firing. The distributor cap/ rotor I believe is one of the 7-8 possible items or procedures that needs to be performed.
