fuel pump

I have a 1999 chevy g10 van at first the fuel pimp wouldn't disengage even after the vehicle was turned off. we diconnected the fuel pump overnight and reconnected it in the morning and now it won't start at all

Sounds like the fuel pump relay is sticking and powering the fuel pump continuously.
