Having issues with bleeding my brakes. I bled out the lines after replacing 1 front line and the main line to the rear brakes. Now the vehicle will not shift out of park while the vehicle is running and the brake peddle is spongy.

What sequence did you follow to bleed the brakes? Farthest to nearest to the MC? Also, nothing you mentioned would cause the park lock solenoid to malfunction. Tell me, are the brake lights turning on when you hit the brakes?

Started with the right rear, then left rear to the right front. No none of the brake lights come on when I hit the brakes. I wasn't sure if the park lock solenoid is pressure controlled through the ABS system.

The park lock solenoid is powered via the brake light switch. If the brake lights don't work, the solenoid won't release.
