How do you reset abs system after repairing sensor failure?

Replaced front left abs sensor. Diconnected battery while changing sensor. Light is now out but abs pump runs momentarily after changing sensor. Light does not come back on. Is this normal? Will system relearn/reset after driving.

normally it needs to bereset with a scanner for abs systems. the pupmp sholdn't run bu tmay becasue of sensor replacement and abs unit is reading something. you'll have to go to a pro repair shop to get this done or a dealer.
