i have a longer delay in my transmission than normal.This happens when its trying to change from first gear into the second

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up??
How's the transmission fluid level and condition? If okay -To me its slipping,bring it in and have it further checked out

Lets have the transmission serviced, I advise against tranny flushing-just fluid and filter change-try this 1st

what is the required volume of fluid dealing in quarts.I was told 7 1/2.

Start it up and let it run for 10mins while you're inside moving the selector gear to gear -than stop keep it running check dipstick level if its not on full mark keep filling it till it hits the full mark-
