This vehicle sometimes hesitates after you have been at a stop or when you first start to go when you start it. Also there are times the check engine light comes on and goes off randomly. My husband drove my car and when it hesitated he push down hard on the gas pedal and my car backfired this was the one and only time it did this. I have used injector cleaner, don't go below half a tank, and always make sure the gas cap is tight. My thoughts are maf sensor is either bad or dirty. What are your thoughts? Thank you Patty

try cleaning the throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and iac hole. if you need to know where it is look on our site under throttle actuator. you don't need to remove throttle body to do this. if the light continues to come on have a pro scan it.
