Hello, I have a 99 chevorlet silverado w/ 5.3L V8, extended cab, 4x4. I have been having issues with the engine surging. It acts almost as if the timing is off just a bit, which shouldnt be possible being its efi and the ecu should take care of any issues like that. It had been running like a dream in the summer. I live in MN and this has gotten worse as the cold sets in. I did get a new throttle position sensor, changed plugs, and other small misc parts(though I dont think that pertains to this). Is there any other areas that might be worth checking? I just had it in the shop and paid $1600 and got nowhere. Any help would surely be appreciated.
