truck sputtering

1999 chevy s10 is sputtering when i push the gas pedal intialy what could be wrong?

Check for vacuum leaks. It could be a few different sensors. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Check fuel pump pressure too.
