I have a 99 Chevy S10, 2WD, V6 W engine code. I bought the truck a year ago. An intermittent problem is the gauges go crazy (tach, speedo, fuel, and other indicators jumping from minimum readings to max), all warning lights blink and it just dies. After turning off the ignition (trying to pull over safely first), it starts right back up and usually wont' do it again for sometime, then again it may do it a minute later. Any ideas?

Do you have a check engine light on?

Any abnormal gauge reading prior to "The Wild Thing"?

Has Battery and Alternator been tested?

You need to know what the fuel pressure is when it happens. Youll also need to have your engine scoped.
