Blowing fuses

My 1999 Chevy S-10 keeps blowing the fuse for the 4WD. It also controls the fuel gauge, temp gauge, gear selector, day time driving lights, battery indicator. Any ideas?

There has to be a short. Un fortunately you will need to trace each wire from power source to actuator/sensor or instrument.
I would be most suspect of the connectors/wires that are most exposed to the elements and damage from road debris.
