p0401 what do i do

I have replaced the egr valve and reset the computer. With a scan tool. Code stayes off for 76 miles. On the freeway the minute I got off and slowed down it came back on as pending. What do I do

That code is for insufficent egr flow have you checked to make sure the egr port isnt clogged?
