If there is a substantial amount of fluid in the intake from the mass airflow sensor to the engine in a 1999 Chevy Malibu, 3.1L, what could be the problem

Zero fluid only air. is fluid coolant? oil? water?

Its water that look like it came in contact with something like residue. Only that the oil looks normal and the coolant tank looks normal too. But my car won't start, and I hope I didn't hydro lock the engine.

Did car get driven through standing water? if yes can engine be rotated by hand using ratchet on crank bolt? if no pull plugs see if it will turn

No I didn't run through any standing water. Just was using waster in the coolant tank because it sprung a leak and I needed it to gt me home. The engine is cranking over but will not catch on to start up completely. They first said it could be a blown head gasket but that it was doing too much to be that. And as I've said, there is no oil water mix or white smoke or water out the exhaust pipe so I am perplexed. What do you think I should try at this current standing to see what is up.

Pull a plug wire hold next to block crank spark? if yes the spray carb cleaner into air intake crank fire for a sec?

So pull off the boots and then hold it next to where I pulled it and try to start the car up?
