I put a new water pump, thermostat, rad. rad, cap.I came home Sat.2:30 and Sun. Morn. I went out to check the rad. and it had pressure in it.

if it overheated prior to your repair, it may have blown a head gasket. that would explain the pressure

Although it is very unusual, it's not a bad thing at all. It merely means the system is sealed tight enough to hold pressure for a long period. Monitor the coolant level and temp for the next few days.
