Check engine light

I have a 1999 chevy Lumina that runs absolutely fine; however the check engine light is always on and the code always reads EGR valve. I just got the car from my mother because she was tired of trying to get it to pass inspection every year. She has got a stumble other than that, Runs fine the code just does not go away.

What is the exact code number there is more then one egr code.
