Battery is new but won't charge over 40%. Alternator checks good. What could be the problem?

You need to test the charging system on the vehicle.

The charging system was checked on the car. That's why I bought a new battery when I was told it was good, but something is wrong.

You know getting an answer from you is like pulling teeth. The charging system was checked out at two different service centers and checked good. How would I know what the voltage reading is. I guess you don't know any more than they did.

You know, I could say the same about you. You tell me that the charging system is working, yet it won't charge a battery. You ask me for diagnosis, yet you can't supply any data whatsoever. Good luck with your car.
