99 cavalier 2.2 engine the fuel pump/injection fuse blows when shifted into drive. The car cranks but when put in drive, kills the fuse. There is a new computer put in about 3 weeks ago.

Check to see if there is short inline going topump, if not see if pump is drawing to much power. Scan for codes and check fuel pressure as well. And check all connections. If the computer was put in was it the correct one?
