what parts are needed to replace back brakes of 1999 chevy blazer

Told by mechanic I needed pads, rotors, all the lines and calipers. Brake pedal is "spongy" and goes almost all the way to floor. Brake light is on.

Are you leaking anywhere from the back? If not check the master cylinder fluid level also the master cylinder itself could be leaking internally
