I have a 99 chevy blazer and need to know how to put the distributor in time

Remove the distributor-Put the engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC, line the pulley marks to 0/TDC. Install the distributor and have the rotor pointing at 6 o clock then follow the firing order
