My heated drivers heated seat icon stays on and causes battery drainage

My heated seat button all of a sudden stays on when the engine us running, and also no I can not move my driver seat in any direction since this has been happening. When the engine is why off, the heated seat light blinks like it has a pulse. After rapidly pressing and holding the button for about 60 seconds it goes off but my battery is still experiencing drainage. Can you help me out?

The draining could be due to a faulty heated seat module under driver seat.

Check for a bad ground circuit under the front right seat, as this is common for both seat and heated circuits.

Thanks a whole lot. I imagine that I have to remove the seat for this to be performed right?

Not necessary to remove completely but anchor boltss might have to be removed to facilitate the work.
