I know its not recommended but can I pull my 4.6 out the top

I have coolant in my oil I think its the heads or gaskets or head bolts needing sleeved I just got a compression gauge but havent tested yet I can find a mid-rise scissor lift for rent no where and its going to be hard to get up that high help please

I was told to do a compression test before I pull the engine do I need to? It has a new radiator and water pump im pretty good at fixing thing but need guidance it has aluminaum heads and block there was a problem with the head bolt treads pulling from the block so I was going to put time-sert sleeves in but how can I know where my leak is for sure and can the 4.6 northstar be pulled from the top?Please help I dont have a lot of money at once so I ve got to do the work my self thanks

What lift? First remove the intake manifold then the heads. Take them to the machine shop and they will give you a rebuilt pair to install or rebuild your heads if poss. Ty for using 2carpros
