i have a 1999 deville concourse with the northstar motor and the headgasket blew i want to know if a northstar out of a 2003 dts fit

Two completely different body styles, some engine casting and mounting differences, as well as different sensors and powertrain management systems, you will find that you will have problems. I would opt to have the O.E. engine repaired, and save yourself the frustration.
