I have a 99 Cadillac Deville and it is losing coolant from somewhere because I usually have to fill coolant at least twice a week. It is not mixing with the oil and there are no leak sitings. What could be happening to the coolant? Please help

If its not leaking anywhere outside the engine could be burning in the cylinders-get it block and pressure tested

All mechanics can do a cooling system pressure test, it will take only a few minutes to do.

I had it checked and the mechanic said the pressure is good and he didnt find any leaks from any tubes or any other parts. Do u think the reservoir cap might be the issue? Its an older plastic kind. I could change that and see what happens

Did they check the heater core for a leak? Also best get a head check done, this is a simple test for Co in the cooling system, not all small head gasket problems will show coolant in the oil to start with.

Yea they checked heater core. Head was checked and nothing. This problem has been going on for about a year. So shouldn't oil be dirty if it was that long? But I just replaced the reservoir cap and hopefully thats what it is. If u have any more suggestions let me know, please?
