1999 CADILLAC DEVILLE

I can manually look at my computer codes and delete/reset the computer by using certain buttons on my dash rather than have to go to my mechanic or parts store where they use that little gadget and plug it in under my steering column.. Is that correct? If so, could you explain how to do that? Thank you.

Hello, I got a 1999 Cadillac SLS , And there is something staying on in my car that's running my , New Battery,Down.? And my alternator is good, And it just started about 3weeks ago.please Help
