Bypassing the security system is tricky business Im would recommend just fixing the wires it costs nothing by time and a little wiring fix.

But could you give me some suggestion besides the tech2, because I did have a lock smith with that tool and he did the resistor by pass, could it be the ignition lock cylinder

One more time. You cannot diagnose this problem without a tech2 scan tool. You just bypassed the lock cylinder.

My vehicles security system kicked in and would not allow the car to start. It gives a message that states the car may not start. How do I reset or bypass this problem?

No way to reset. It sounds like the ignition cylinder has failed. There is contacts inside the cylinder that read the key resistance value, the wires that connect to the cylinder tend to break up at the cylinder creating an open circuit. The only way to bypass is by first knowing the key value, substituting a resistor and jumping the terminals at the connector at base of the column. Replacement of the cylinder is the chosen repair.

The key chip and the resistor have different values. They must match. The tester has different resistor values 1 to 15. If the key the key is a 7 you set to 7 and it reads 750 ohns on the chip or resistor and it starts. If properly installed it does work.

Wierd but it works - I did a Caddy once this way about 20 years ago - You'll want the resister "color chart"(on back of a Radio Shack package). And one of those antique ohms boxes to figure out the value needed. Here's a formula for parallel circuit (just add for "series")
1
_____________

1 1 1 1
__ __ __ __
R1 + R2 + R3 + R4 etc.
(all my 1's moved left aftet I "submitted", should be centered vertically)

The key bypass is only going to work if first, the correct resister value was used and second. That was the problem in the first place which is probably wasn't.
