Belt broke off today replace pully and belt won't start back up any help

remove the belt and see if it starts

My mechanic said that its trying to turn over do u think I need a jump lights went dim when the belt broke off

thats the alternator not working.

your tech cannot figure this out, then get it out of there and go somewhere that can give you the correct diag

remove the belt in case something is locked up not allowing the motor to turn
