Transmission problem?

The check engine is on. Went to autozone, and a code came up for the 1-2 shift solenoid. The car drives great. The only thing is that I only feel it shift only once at 10 mph, and after that it doesn't do it anymore.I guess it revs or something. Idk I just drive it. Could you help me in the diagnosis of the problem? How much does it cost to fix? What do I need to do?

Have you tried shifting manually to see if it shifts right?

Yes but it has like 1 2 3 D selections. Start in lowest selection and move up manually.

Oh yes. I've tried that. It works on each gear. I'm really not car savvy but I know a little.I'm just saying while Im driving in drive it only shifts once.

Pan needs to be removed and soleniod checked. If bad replace and see if that fixes it.
