low milage

My car BMW 523i 1999 saloon is giving me a low milage,(ei:275 miles max for a full tank).If you could let me know why is that & how should solve it? give me some sujestion??????????

Do you have a check engine light?

Reduced mileage could mean tune-up needed, mass air flow sensor weak.

tires/wheel alignment/slipping transmission, dragging brakes and etc
