i have a bmw 323i 1999 the dash computer says n/s front light out but isnt the only bulb that went was number plate bulb have changed this but still the dash says the front bulb is out

Inspect the connections for corrosion/melted plastic/wiring connector discoloration, especially the brown wire. Replace any brass based bulbs with silver based bulbs and if the are dark or silvered inside the globe, install the BMW bulbs straightaway. The warning should then go out.
