i have a 99 e46..i have simular symptions but different if you know what i mean.. varying from sluggish/hessitation when cold to lack of power(car in netural ,reving engine revs sluggish or none ) thanks in advance for your help

noticed at first it was a bit sluggish, not getting full power when accellating so the trottle body was cleaned. then one day when i started it ,i done a u turn in first and proceded into second and it nearly died. no mater how much reves were applied. i pulled in and allowed the engine to warm up a bit and it was a little better to drive .. have changed air,oil filter and got an oil change.. it runs a little better..the oil using now is 5 w 40 full syntetic but before it was 10 w 30 semisyntec.car is manaul drive. if that helps thanks
