My low fuel light keeps going off even though I have plenty of gas. Can someone tell me why?

I would be thinking that the sensor attached to to fuel sender is acting up, this will have to be tested out of the car and by someone confident with electrical work.

I have no clue who would do this. Is this something Audi would need to take care of or can another repair place do it? Money is very tight, but this warning of low fuel is making me crazy!

If on a budget get a general mechanic to look at it, but first ask the question is it something that you know how to do?
