Been conversing w/ Mike. Hey Mike. I'm coming back this way so I can hit the $. Went to test the EGR valve like you said to be sure it was NOT working. BUT! There's not vacume input on the valve. Looks like a 5-wire electric plug. Didn't want to go thru the recall/repair/replace procedure if just a loose vac-hose or something. How do I test the electric EGR valve?

The information in our database, which are from Honda, does not have any information on the testing of EGR valves. When the code appears, the recommendation is to clean or replace the valve and retest.
