Ice inside windshield

Live in NH very cold below zero. This is the second time in 2 days. Thick heavy frost windshield only

Typically, that means that the rubber seals on your doors/windows isn't good. The seals are keeping moisture out like they are supposed to. Check the rubber pads around your door.

That can be caused by moisture inside the car for any reason. If your carpets are wet for any reason or maybe the heater core is leaking. A windshield or trunk leak would do it also.
